Botanical Name: Galium aparine

Actions: Soothing diuretic. Lymphatic and glandular alterative which facilitates removal of catabolic wastes and facilitates repair of tissue. Cooling to fevers (but is not diaphoretic).

Uses: Irritation or inflammation of urinary tract; dysuria and painful urination; to clear urinary wastes and mucous. Lymphatic and glandular swellings. Ovarian cysts. Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) and other prostate maladies. Psoriasis, eczema, hives and skin problems associated with poor elimination (esp. nodular deposits). Mononucleosis. Measles. Fevers.

Dose: Take 30 to 40 drops, 2 to 5 times per day.

Cautions: Avoid or combine with warming herbs when body is cold.
