Botanical Name: Passiflora incarnata

Actions: Calmative and sedative, which allays nervousness and restlessness. Helps produce rest and natural sleep without a “drugged” feeling. Anodyne for the relief of pain. Antispasmodic.

Uses: Nervousness, restlessness, worry and hysteria. Especially useful in children and the aged. Insomnia or disturbed sleep, and nightmares. Nervous palpitation or tachycardia of the heart. Nervous headache. Nervous gastrointestinal complaints, and persistent hiccough. Nerve pain, nervous headache, painful menses, and reflex pains during pregnancy. Muscular twitching. Spastic coughs and asthma (best taken at very onset). Teething children. Withdrawal from drug addictions.

Dose: Take 30 to 40 drops, 2 to 5 times per day. Best results are usually seen after a few days of use.
