Botanical Name: Scutellaria lateriflora

Actions: Restorative nerve tonic and mild sedative. Antispasmodic.

Uses: Nervous exhaustion and neurasthenia; mental overwork; nervous breakdown and depression; nerve depletion due to depleting disease. Irritation of nervous system; nervous agitation, hysteria and anxiety; rage and anger; nervous tremor. Nervous heart disorders. Support therapy in epilepsy. Insomnia. Withdrawal from alcohol and other drug addictions; delirium tremens.

Dose: Take 30 to 40 drops, 2 to 4 times per day.

Cautions: Beware of adulteration of Skullcap with Germander herb (Teucrium chamaedrys).
