Healing arts tools and massage supplies with oils, liniments, balms and medicated patches. Our newest line is Dr. Christopher's brand formulas and balms.

Aaron Maschmeyer, the founder of Morning Star Health, was a Massage Therapist and Health Educator with 17 years experience in the healing arts for over 8,000 bodywork treatments. Aaron specialized in injury recovery, and working with patients who had chronic health conditions. He retired from bodywork in 2003.

We are happy to announce that Aaron's wife, Elaine Baca, also retired in June 2009 after 32 years of teaching elementary school, 1st-6th grade. She brings great energy and valuable skills to this store.

Aaron's personal healing journey with Chinese medicine, herbal extracts and vitamin supplements inspired the birth of this Holistic Health Store. He tuned in to the kind of people who thrive in the healing community of Acupuncturists, Herbalists, Massage Therapists, Homeopaths, Chiropractors, Nutritionists, and many other kindred medical professionals. These people are eclectic, drawing from many resources to heal and grow on any path that works for them.

The name Morning Star Health came from early morning meditation, and observing Venus, the Morning Star, which is by far the brightest celestial object in the sky after the sun and moon. In the morning, it is the last star shining as the morning sun rises.
